I Want To Arrive By Public Transport

The station of Sassnitz is about 6 km away from the ferry terminal. From there, you can arrive or depart by taxi, for example, reachable under the number +49 38392 30 30. The taxi stand is directly located on the ferry site where the Bordershop is.

Beyond that, there is a bus stop within close proximity. During the week, a bus stops here every hour by day. At the weekend, the stop is approached twice a day.

Here you can find the current bus schedule (only available in German).

Travelling On Two Wheels?

Cyclists are very welcome! In Mukran we even have a separate boarding area near the Bordershop, which is especially for our bicycle guests.

Just follow the road E22 straight ahead to the parking lot Fährhafen Mukran, then ride down the hill towards the Bordershop. There you can enter the ferry site with your bike after a short check.

What If I Have To Wait?

By its wide window facade, the waiting area in the ferry terminal is bright and inviting and is equipped with sufficient seating areas. Furthermore, there is interesting background information on the harbour building. Did you know for example that there is the Seamen’s Club Rügen-Anker on the first floor? The rebuilt shop is kept by honorary club members of the Seamen’s Mission of Sassnitz. Besides a pool table, musical instruments and a dartboard, you will also find refreshments and international newspapers.

Thanks to its central location, Ystad is optimally integrated into the Swedish road network. Whether via the Europastraße E65 northwest, the Motorväg 9 eastbound, the Motorväg 13 northbound or the Motorväg 19 northeast – the road network converges star-shaped in Ystad from all over the country.

Where Can I Park At The Ystad Port?
