Our Hygiene Concept

We all probably have COVID-19 on our minds somehow, but we want to give you some respite from it as long as you're on our ferry. That's why we take numerous hygiene measures so that you don't have to worry about anything at FRS. Of course, our hygiene concept is always adapted to current requirements.

Check-In & Boarding

  • When checking in and boarding, as well as when moving around the ship, we ask you to wear a mouth-nose protection.
  • We regularly disinfect places that are heavily frequented and touched.
  • Our staff are specially trained and are always on hand to help with any questions.
  • Staff in direct contact with guests wear protective masks and gloves for safety.
  • We have set up hand sanitising facilities for you everywhere on board, e.g. in the entrance area, in the toilets, as well as in other important places.
  • The capacity of the passengers we carry on our high-speed catamaran is reduced by about half. This will allow you to keep a safe distance from other guests.
  • As a reminder to all guests and crew members, there is a clear guidance system on the floor that ensures safety distances.
  • Friendly posters on the ship remind people to wash and disinfect their hands more often. The info is also recorded in the on-board entertainment system
